FLAME: The Flexible Large-scale Agent Modelling Environment
FLAME is a environment for developing agent-based applications. It was initially developed by Simon Coakley of the Computer Science Department at the University of Sheffield and has been extended to run on high performance systems in collaboration with the Software Engineering Group at STFC. FLAME takes a model definition and associated function code and generates a complete agent-based application. The figure show to buidling process in which the main FLAME components - the X-Parser and the Message Board Library are higlighted.
