Caroline Plugge joins ABMES
Welcome to Caroline who has joined the ABMES project.
Caroline works at the Laboratory of Microbiology and her main research interest is related to microbial interactions in anaerobic ecosystems. Subjects of special interest are the physiology, molecular biology, and molecular ecology of syntrophic microorganisms.
Wiki pages started
Following our skype meeting decision I have made an initial stab at setting up the wiki pages. This is just a bare bones at the moment so feel free to add and adjust as you like. Adding and modifying pages is easy and there is a guide under help from the front page of the abmes wiki.
The most important page here is our open lab notebook which can be found from the front page. I have added a page for expt 1, and under this some notes and the protocol (Gabi you will need to replace this when you have a new version). We can add notes pages and results pages as we want here. To add a page you just edit the wiki page and write e.g. *[Notes] under * Protocol - the page will be automatically created.
If you need help then let me know and I'll try to assist.
Anna Malawska joins the project
Anna is a PhD student working with agent-based modelling of farmer decision behaviour, and has kindly agreed to help with technical issues on ABMES.
Emilio Ungerfeld joins the project
A warm welcome to Emilio who joined the ABMES project today.
32-bit version available
I've put a 32-bit version up on releases. This is version 0.001x32 and should produce identical results to the 64-bit version.
Any problems, let me know.
First version of ABMES.exe released
I've put up the current version of the model with required input files on 'Files'
This is the 64bit version - I'll need to add the 32-bit version later when I have access to a 32-bit machine.
If at some point someone could download and test it for me that would be great. If it complains about missing .dlls then there is a file called vcredist_x64.exe which should install these for you.
files uploaded to docs
I've uploaded the pending files to docs and added Gabi's pH curves data. There are still problems with notifications from CCPForge so I had to delete the pending files and upload them with admin rights.

ABMES hosted on CCPForge from today
We have started the process of getting our microbial simulator hosted on CCPForge. I will be putting code up into the SVN repository in the next day or two.
